Introduced in 1966, the first version of the Spitfire was confusingly designated as the MkII
Designed as a sports-tourer with raised handlebars, forward-mounted rider footrests, a large dual seat with race-style hump and fibreglass fuel tank and side panels
This example was despatched from the factory new in April 1966 to Southampton and still retains its original registration number
Recently restored to its current condition and is presented in running order
Matching numbers and complete with its original RF60 log book and invoice
Supplied with a history file containing numerous receipts and other associated paperwork
Original handlebars included and fitted with electronic ignition
Great example of this classic BSA
