Description
We have a fully restored and Dutch supplied 1967 Opel Commodore 2500S Coupé automatic. This car is from the very first year the Commodore hit the market and it is also the popular coupé version. The car is in wonderful condition. The fine bodywork has nice and thin, correctly aligned panelwork. The vinyl roof covering and brightwork too are in a very good state.
It has the correct “Rostyle” wheels fitted and really looks the part. The silver external finish forming a lovely contrast with the black vinyl roof certainly plays it part in the car’s appeal. The dashboard still has its original radio and is also in great shape. Mechanically the car is at least as fit as the rest of the car. The 2. 5 litre straight-six producing 115 Ps is coupled to the 2-speed automatic transmission.
The car handles beautifully, immediately transporting you back to the late 60’s. Quite uniquely the original service booklet still forms part of the itinerary. This is without doubt a beautifully restored Opel Commodore 2500S Coupé.
