Description
The Land Rover Defender traces its roots back to the original 1948 Land Rover. However, the Defender name only emerged in 1990 out of a need to distinguish this model from the Solihull brand's new products.
In total, over 68 years, more than 2 million “Defender” vehicles were manufactured, taking on all types of shapes and functions and being used by Kings, Queens, Farmers, Firefighters, Police and Soldiers.
This Defender 110 Crew Cab is one of the final versions of the iconic British off-roader. Under the bonnet is the proficient and modern 2. 2 Diesel engine which, thanks to direct injection and a variable geometry turbo, delivers 122 hp and 360 Nm through a six-speed gearbox – enough to get you out of any tight spot and guaranteeing modest but very contemporary performance for the classic Defender.
This example was purchased new in Portugal in March 2014, has only 48, 000 km and is in excellent condition without any changes. Access to the 'cabin' is facilitated by the running boards and on board we have the convenience of air conditioning and electric windows.
