Description
Ferrari’s 2-litre V6 four cam engine was designed in mid 60s to propel Ernesto Brambilla’s and Derek Bell’s Formula 2 into winning the European Championship. In order to satisfy FIA’ s homologation production requirements, Ferrari collaborated with Fiat thereby creating the V6-engined Fiat Dino series. The Coupe version was unveiled in 1967 and featured a 5-speed gearbox, independent front suspension, a live rear axle and disc brakes all around.
The Dino Coupe offered was produced in 1967 and imported in Greece in 1980 to be registered to its first owner. In 1987 it changed hands only to be acquired 2 years later by its current vendor. In 1997 it was treated to an engine overhaul with Superformance UK supplied parts and later to a refinish to Ferrari’s Giallo Fly Yellow. In 2023 the Dino was fully serviced with emphasis on its Webers, clutch, brakes and cooling for regular driving.
