You can tell this is no ordinary Mini Clubman !! Featuring a 1. 8 litre K series engine and a 5 speed PG1 gearbox, this Mini is quite an eyeful.
Although we have no paperwork for the Mini other than the V5 and a Mini manual, the vendor has informed us of the following upgrades to the car.
Gas flowed solid cam 1. 8 litre cylinder head with oversized valve
MGTF 160 bottom end and pistons
Piper 633 camshafts
Megajolt programmable ignition with custom map
Yamaha YZF1000 38mm carbs on custom TIG welded inlet manifold
Alloy radiator
Janspeed exhaust
5 speed MGF PG1 gearbox with Rover BRM Torsen diff
Rover Metro front subframe
GAZ coil over front shocks
MGF calipers
Rear coil over spring conversion
Adjustable camber brackets
Refurbished Triumph Dolomite Sprint alloys with matching Nankang tyres
The Mini shell has been deseamed, and painted pageant blue with black Miglia arches to complete the look. There are some rust bubbles and corrosion present around the windscreen and other isolated areas but overall the shell appears sound.
The interior features a roll cage that has been bolted in place, bucket seats, and full instrumention.
A large number of parts also come with the car.
Overall this is fast and usable Mini – not one for the purist but nevertheless lots of fun.
