This bike was brought in to us as part of a collection and has been started and rode round the car park to prove its mechanical integrity.
The NSU Quickly, produced from 1953 to 1968, was one of the most successful mopeds in history, with over 1. 5 million units sold worldwide. What made it particularly interesting was its remarkable versatility - NSU offered the Quickly in a variety of models, ranging from basic commuter versions to sporty and off-road designs. It was powered by a simple yet reliable 49cc two-stroke engine, and its lightweight frame allowed it to achieve speeds of up to 40 mph, which was impressive for its class. The Quickly’s modular design and wide range of accessories also made it a favourite among hobbyists, as it could be customized for different purposes, including cargo transport.
