We are very pleased to offer a very rare and desirable 1998 Paul Smith Limited edition Mini. Only 1800 of these very exclusive Minis were produced with only 300 for the UK market, this example being one of the original UK cars. They have many unique features specific to this edition and they have always been very popular. I absolutely adore these limited editions as they offer a great alternative to Cooper's and they are very rarely seen giving you that extra bit of Kudos.
Designed by the famous fashion designer and finished in Paul Smith blue with colour coded wheel arches and mirrors and Anthracite Minilite wheels. The Mini was then given various Citrus green details, all of which are present on this example. they included a Union Jack grille badge, rocker cover, glove box lining, boot board plug leads and fuel tank. There is also a Paul Smith sticker on the rear window and on the glove box lid. The unique Paul Smith bonnet badge is gold plated.
Our Paul Smith has covered a very low 50 thousand miles in 26 years and is accompanied with a thorough and detailed service history giving it excellent provenance. It also has both sets of keys and fobs.
On the road this Mini is a joy to drive. Its an MPi Mini or Multi point fuel injection version so all you have to do to get out on the road is just turn the key and go. They have taller gearing so will cruise at Motorway speeds with ease. They also provide very punchy performance through a smooth gearbox. It benefits from a long list of new parts that includes brakes and tyres so is very poised on the open road. Further MPi features include a drivers airbag, alarm and immobiliser and side impact protection beams. MPi Minis are so much fun to drive and there popularity continues to increase as they are so easy to use.
On the inside Paul Smith Minis were treated to a stylish full black leather interior with a colour coded dashboard with Magnolia dials and an analogue clock, the interior of this Limited Edition Mini I think is one of the best Rover produced and this one has been very well cared for.
This Paul Smith also has a very solid shell and has receipts for recent maintenance. It has vented sills, untouched and detailed boot floor and a well presented engine bay which is correct down to the Citrus green plug leads. The paintwork gleams and it belies its vintage. This is a fantastic example that is an absolute pleasure to drive.
The Mini has been fully serviced, checked and driven and has a full MOT so its ready for you to start your Mini adventure.
