Early August ’23 we were made aware of this unique 2cv, just in the Netherlands in a small town near de Meern. This had ended up in the garage years ago due to the death of the husband. The family wanted to own a virtually new 2cv and found this one in Germany at the beginning of 1997 at a Citroën dealer with only approx. 500 km. The 2cv was registered in NL on 30-01-1997 and the adventure could begin.
It was an extra fun car and when the weather was nice it was allowed to come along. With an average of 950 km p/ y the duck was driven in quietly. Until unfortunately it remained in the garage more and more due to illness in 2005. In the years that followed, some mandatory MOT inspections were done, but unfortunately it was not driven much anymore. In August ’23 we took it out from under the dust and ended up in our 2cv warehouse. Recently we had some space in the agenda again and we prepared this unique 2cv. With the plastic still on the back seat, it is as if it rolled off the production line yesterday. With only 8, 800 km, it is completely new from the factory.
We deliver this completely ready to drive, including major maintenance and a new MOT.
