THE BIKE SPECIALISTS,
TRADING STANDARD AWARD WINNERS FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS.
Bike: ID#9715
Here for sale we have the extremely rare Fantic Motor 50cc Chopper. This example was manufactured in September 1975 and first registered in Italy before recently being fully restored and registered in the UK. The bike is the TX 130 model and is in unbelievable condition and is supplied with copies of the original Italian documents as well as the UK V5.
The Fantic 50cc Chopper, produced by Italian manufacturer Fantic Motor during the 1970s, was a standout among the “sixteener specials”—mopeds designed for 16-year-olds seeking the chopper aesthetic popularized by films like “Easy Rider.” Its distinctive design featured extended front forks, a low-slung frame, and high-rise handlebars, capturing the essence of American chopper motorcycles in a compact, 50cc package.
In the UK, the Fantic Chopper gained popularity among teenagers due to its unique styling and the freedom it offered within the constraints of licensing laws at the time. Today, it holds a nostalgic value for enthusiasts and collectors especially with them being so hard to source. We believe this to be the only one currently for sale anywhere on the planet.
This bike really does need to be seen to be fully appreciated, please do not hesitate to contact us should you have any questions or wish to reserve the Fantic. We can offer full finance packages and also arrange delivery both UK and Worldwide.
