This is an original 356A Cabriolet that was delivered new to Hamburg, Germany in 1958. The Porsche's body-off restoration was completed at the end of 2020 and the classic has covered just 2, 000 km after restoration. The quality of the restoration is of a very high standard and was carried out by a restorer who had taken over the contents of Karosserie Reutter in the past and used them to improve the quality of the restoration. In 1960 (less than 40, 000 km on the clock), the original engine was replaced with a more powerful 75 hp, 1, 571 cm3 Porsche factory exchange engine. The engine was overhauled during the restoration and only covered approximately 2, 000 km after the overhaul. The Porsche 356A Cabriolet we are offering for sale here is truly stunning to behold.
