Description
We are incredibly pleased to present this beautifully restored Land Rover 90 V8 to the market. Having appeared in the Classic Land Rover Magazine, this is as you would expect, a genuinely nice show standard Land Rover that looks great, has a lovely interior, and drives excellently.
Having been originally built in 1985 as a Land Rover 90 V8 Station Wagon, in 2017 this Land Rover has been rebuilt as a soft top with some other lovely upgrades. It has been rebuilt onto a Galvanised Chassis, has had its suspension completely overhauled, has stainless steel manifolds, and the engine has been rebuilt by Hitech Engines. It has covered less than 3000 miles since its recommissioning, the Slate Grey Paintwork has a deep finish and presents remarkably well, the Spartan Interior is unmarked after being well preserved, and the driving of it is fantastic.
It will come as no surprise that this Land Rover has a prize on the mantlepiece after winning the best in show at the Wigton Motor Club. This car is everything you would want from a Land Rover, a strong engine, a tough and rust-free chassis, and a clean bulkhead, and looks great too. To take this out into the Yorkshire Countryside is a pleasure and the fully rebuilt LT85 5-speed gearbox is exceptionally smooth offering comfortable top gear travelling.
D233 GEN offers excellent value with the level of restoration it went through and the condition it presents in today, you may never find a better one.
