Description
When the Ferrari Testarossa was launched in 1984 it was one of the most visually stunning cars ever produced by the company and to this day, it remains a show stopper.
This 1992 car presents exceptionally well inside and out. It genuinely looks like a car that has covered fewer than 10, 000 miles, with superb Rosso Corsa paintwork, Tan leather upholstery, and Black carpets. The luggage and engine compartment are in similarly nice condition.
The car was serviced by Ferrari main dealer in August 2023 and the total kilometers covered is just 62, 800. Mechanically, the car is on the button, running, operating and driving exactly as it should, down to the cold AC. It is European registered (Ireland), has a full book pack and spare keys.
The Testarossa was one of Ferrari’s most successful models and in 1992 it received major revisions that made it even better and it was renamed the 512TR. The fuel injection was changed from Bosch CIS to Motronic, the valves enlarged, and the compression ratio increased. The exhaust system was also redesigned and the engine gained approximately 50hp along with a broader power curve while also becoming dramatically more responsive and sounding much better. The suspension was also revised, the steering ratio quickened, and lower profile tires fitted to go with new 18 inch wheels, an increase of two inches. The brakes were also enlarged and fitted with cross drilled rotors.
With a total production run of just over 7, 200 cars, this was one of Ferrari's most successful models. It’s a well proven and easy to live with car that has proven itself in the market place as a usable and investible vehicle
