Description
To honour the formidable 70-year expedition legacy of the original Defender and its illustrious role in the world’s most iconic and demanding all-terrain competitions, Land Rover Classic introduces the Defender Works V8 Trophy II.
This vehicle recently participated in a three-day ultimate off-road competition experience in Staffordshire. Finished in Fuji White with a contrasting Narvik Black roof and gloss black exterior accents, it is powered by a 5. 0-litre V8 petrol engine paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, delivering 405PS and 515Nm of torque. Gloss black 18-inch Sawtooth alloy wheels are complemented by upgraded brakes, a suspension and handling kit, providing enhanced driving confidence. The adventurous camouflage features iconic silhouettes of Defender and Series Land Rovers, hidden among the 23 locations that have played a part in Land Rover’s storied adventures and historic off-road challenges. Accessories include a multi-point roll cage and ladder, mud tyres, spotlights, raised air intake, vehicle winch, and underbody protection – features designed to help you embark on the journey of a lifetime.
The Recaro sports seats are trimmed in premium black and white Windsor leather with contrasting stitching, combining support and comfort. The leather trim extends to the dashboard, doors, and headliner, ensuring a handcrafted finish throughout the interior. A stunning analogue dashboard clock, designed and crafted in collaboration with adventure watchmaker Elliot Brown, takes centre stage, featuring a unique design that mirrors the exterior camouflage pattern.
In total, Land Rover Classic produced 25 Trophy II models, comprising a mix of left- and right-hand drive configurations as well as 90 and 110 versions. This specific example is one of just four left-hand drive Trophy models configured as a Crew Cab, making it exceptionally unique.
