Unveiled in 2001 at the Bologna Motor Show, the Tuono (Italian for “thunder“) was introduced as a naked sibling to the impressive RSV Mille
The standard Tuono was a great bike in its own right but the, only-for-2003, Tuono Racing (also known as the Tuono R Limited) took it to the next level with high-end components including OZ lightweight forged wheels, Brembo radial calipers, and Ohlins suspension (forks, steering damper, and shocks)
Developed for a one-make race series with approximately 220 built in total, this example being Number #89/ 220
The first run of the Tuono Racing bikes in 2003 were supplied with a race kit that comprised all the parts needed to take to the track, carbon nose fairing, carbon belly pan/ catch tray, exhaust, ECU chip, lock wire bolts and other special parts. Only the 2003 bikes were supplied with these parts
Full carbon bodywork and special livery make this a very eye catching limited-edition motorcycle
Confirmed in running condition, the bike is beautifully presented in super original condition and complete with its full 'race kit'
Supplied with its current V5C, handbook and all paperwork from the factory along with some service history and MOT/ tax information
