We are delighted to bring you our Lotus Eclat series 1 1978 2. 0lt inline 4 160hp
This car has undergone a full restoration commissioned by the owner and carried out by Sussex Sports Cars. The car was in reasonable condition, however the owner wanted to do a full livery change to the stunning gold and black JPS colours you now see, the enhancements of the pin stripping and JPS logos are carried through into the detailing of the interior.
All the seats have been recovered in black leather with very subtle gold stitching. The engine only showing 67, 000 miles was removed and given a top end engine rebuild along with a through detail and many more parts replaced along with new can belt. The car has had 4 brand new tyres and period looking blaupunkt stereo with Bluetooth radio and new speakers fitted. The brake system has been overhauled with most of the suspension receiving similar care.
Unfortunately all the previous paperwork with the car was lost, hence the full rebuild took place.
