1972 Spitfire MkIV 1296cc very smartly finished in Tahiti blue with a top notch matching interior ready to drive away and have fun today, despite being exempt it has a full MOT to the end of December with no advisories, its on the button with everything working and just wants enjoying, its probably the best one available under six grand, look at the pics and video of how solid the underside is and watch it glide down the road, a really well set up British sports car.
Currently showing 80500 miles (unconfirmed), it starts very easily, runs very smoothly and drives spot on, pulls well, stops well and all the lights, indictors, horn, stereo, dash clocks, switches all work as they should. Recent quality hood fitted with no damage, wear or issues, very recent set of matching tyres on new or reconditioned rims, excellent body work, it’s a real good looking car and a super solid underside.
Comes with a good size history file showing regular care and maintenance, some invoices as far back as the 90’s, it’s HPI clear with a current all clear report, we have the full logbook, new MOT a collection of older Mot’s and tax discs plus there’s is a car cover, jack, spare wheel and brace in the boot.
We really are impressed by how well this car drives, we drive a lot of these type’s of car and it takes a lot to impress us, the twin carbs are set up just right, it accelerates with no hesitation and is very steady at speed, -4 degrees when we made the video and with the side windows up and heater on you could motor along quite happily all day.
There will be plenty of sports cars on offer, there will be very few as well demonstrated as this one, nothing hidden and nothing to hide, all inspections welcomed and encouraged. Its not brand new, close inspections will find minor imperfections as expected of any classic car but its ready to jump in and enjoy.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can deliver to most of the UK for £1 per road mile (it won’t be delivered by crow) from Carlisle, direct on our own transport, please ask for a price.
