This beautiful Mercedes-Benz saloon had the V8 engine and automatic transmission of the Mercedes-Benz 600 and, with 250 hp (184 kW) at 4000 rpm, achieved the performance potential of top-class sports cars of its time. Its top speed was 220 km/ h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/ h was 6. 5 seconds (factory specification). The maximum torque was 500 Nm at 2800 rpm.
