Description
A very good matching numbers car in excellent condition, well finished in British Racing Green with standard disc wheels and part-leather, part-vinyl upholstery, as the original would have been. The car was first supplied to the USA, and was later imported into the UK in 2010, when it was converted to RHD and partly restored. In 2019/ 20, the car was extensively refurbished, including new woodwork, engine rebuild, completely new upholstery, and new, quality, double-duck canvas hood and side-screens. The wiring loom was replaced. The structure of the car is excellent with well-fitting doors, and the underside is very clean. It starts very easily and soon warms up, with good oil pressure and no overheating. The charging system works well as do all the dials and instruments, including the now refurbished clock. The disc wheels, which are now rare, are in very good condition with five matching tyres. Recent works include new brake shoes, headlamps fitted with LEDs, and new carpets. This car is a pleasure to drive, with good performance, handling and brakes. The gearbox is nice and easy to use. All in all, a very good example ready for immediate use. Comes with good history file, V5C, workshop manual and handbook.
