2007 Aluminum Proteus / Enduro C Type Jaguar.
Presenting one of the original Proteus / Enduro aluminium Superform bodied cars assembled in 2007 by XK Engineering, Coventry. Finished in Ecurie Ecosse blue, with a black leather and insulated Hardura interior expertly fitted by GB Trim of Coventry. Originally sold by Legends Automotive Ltd as we were the acting agents for Proteus / Enduro at that time.
This example, having been constructed in 2007 is the ultimate development of the original Enduro manufactured run and not to be confused with other lesser replicas. These cars are thoroughly developed, fast and reliable offering a truly engaging driving experience.
Prior to this sale, Mirabel Engineering has just completed a thorough refresh.
Work performed:
Engine refresh / valves / crank balance / bearings
Clutch replaced.
Flywheel machined and balanced.
Prop shaft and drive shafts rebuilt / balanced.
Engine mounts replaced.
Gearbox inspected.
Designed from the outset to be a modern take on the iconic C Type without loosing any of the aesthetic DNA of the original. Fastidious attention to engineering detail is evident throughout. Utilising modern CNC technologies and materials means this Proteus / Enduro C Type represents the highest standard C Type replication on the market.

A very comprehensive file documents the care lavished on NUB 638 from day one. Invoices from XK Engineering / Wren Classics and most recently from Milford Vintage Engineering as well as all recent refresh work by Mirabel Engineering. Also present are pictures documenting the building process as well as the original Enduro sales brochure.
NUB 638 stands to day in superb order and is 100 percent ready for long distance high speed continental touring.
