1985 Mercedes W123 200 Manual Saloon. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. NOVA declaration has been done and the UK reg has been applied for. The car starts runs and drives and is extremely solid. Its never been welded and structurally is superb but their is room for a bit tidying up.
Body - Looks like all original panels. Completely rot free and original underneath. Panel gaps are good and car is nice an straight. One small minor ding on nsr quarter where it meets bootlid. Bumpers and chrome are all decent. Underbonnet area is again all solid and original. Paintwork is perfectly useable and tidy. Not a show car but very nice looking. Both o/ s door handles a bit loose
Mechanics - Car starts, runs and drives . Good 2. 0 petrol engine. Good clutch and gearbox, brakes are a bit spongy but we will give them a bleed. As with any old car will need a good checkover Car has done 196, 000 kms or 122500 miles which is a breeze for one of these old cars
Interior - All original and fairly tidy. Good seats, door cards carpets and dashtop. Drivers side window winder handle needs replacing, maybe the mechanism as well.
Wheels - Standard factory steels and chrome hubcaps. Tyres are OK
