Description
1973 Bentley T1. Finished in Astral Blue with a matching blue interior. These Bentleys are so rare compared to a Silver Shadow of the same era. I believe this is the last year before the flared arch model came out. This car has stacks of history, pretty much back to day one and has only had six owners in 51 years.
This Bentley is in very nice condition inside and out. There are obviously small imperfections due to the age and mileage but nothing major. The chrome is good as is all the brightwork. It has a matching set of Avon tyres which are five years old and all have excellent tread remaining. The engine stars easily when hot or cold and is virtually silent on the road. It has a stainless steel exhaust fitted. Steering is good with minimal play in the box and it handles as well as can be expected for a car like this! Gearbox is smooth. You can barely tell when it's changed gear. The brakes work well and have had much attention over the years. The car pulls up straight and square.
The interior of the car is also very nice. The dash and centre console wood was refinished in 2016 and looks superb. On a couple of the doors, the varnish has cracked on the top but the actual veneers are fine.
A rare chance to own a Bentley T1 at a very reasonable price. You can use this car right now and improve it as you go to have one of the very best out there.
Open to sensible offers but please, be reasonable.
