Description
1985 Porsche 911 (930) 3. 3 Turbo
Supplied new to the UK in 1985, this superb example has been in the ownership of Crosthwaite & Gardiner since 2009.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity shows the original engine and 4 speed gearbox are present, and lists the factory fitted options; recoil bumpers, heated sports seats with electric height adjustment, electric heated passenger door mirror and sun roof.
A substantial history folder contains maintenance, MOT and full service records from when the car was new.
A full gearbox rebuild was carried out in 2013 by Precision Porsche, and in 2016 the car underwent restoration by renowned classic Porsche specialist Roger Bray. This included many new parts and a full, bare metal respray.
The car has been exceptionally well looked after during its life, as shown by the various concours events it has appeared at, including winning a Porsche Award at the 2017 Coys Festival at Blenheim Palace.
It has also appeared on the front covers of Octane Magazine, Classic & Sports Car and the Porsche Post publication of the Porsche Club of Great Britain.
This is quite possibly the best 911 Turbo currently available, presented in one of the best colour combinations of Guards Red with full black leather upholstery and a fully documented mileage of just 82, 837.
