Description
The Honda CR 125 M Elsinore was one of the most successful Motorcross motorcycles of its era, dominating motocross racing in the 70s. This 1978 example has benefitted from a recent comprehensive and sympathetic restoration to keep it as original as possible and with very little use since it was restored.
Fitted with a 125cc two stroke single cylinder air-cooled engine, six-speed gearbox, chromoly-steel tube frame, kick starter, cross-braced handlebar, high-mounted plastic mudguards, twin adjustable rear shocks, spoked wheels with a Takasago Excel rear rim and D. I. D front rim, both fitted with Michelin Cross Competition M12 tyres, side stand and original CR125 M Elsinore owner’s manual.
This lovely example represents a great opportunity for anyone wanting one of these iconic 2 stroke motocross racers, for classic and/ or twin shock motocross competitions, add to a collection, or just use and enjoy off road.
