The Yamaha TZ250 range of 'over the counter' racers became the mainstay of racers at national and international level during the 1970s
Developed annually and remained competitive throughout its lifespan
The need to move away from the standard parallel-twin set up in the 1980s meant the move into a 'reverse cylinder' configeration
This, alongside a new Deltabox alloy frame, reed induction, new gearbox and a new alloy swing arm, resulted in a more up to date racer
This example is presented in restored and mostly original condition
Forming part of a large private collection
Displayed for some years so will require recommissioning before use
Very collectable and, once recommissioned, would be a great race/ parade bike
