This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the MCN London Motorcycle Show 2025 on Sunday the 16th of February, ExCeL London, Royal Victoria Dock, London, E16 1XL.
The TZ range of water-cooled race bikes was introduced in 1973 with the TZ250A
The model range was gradually developed and improved over the years and production ceased in 1982 with the TZ250J
The TZ250G benefited from larger diameter forks, a more powerful engine and "powerjet" carburettors
This restored example is presented in very original condition
Forming part of a large private collection of Yamaha race bikes
Engine number prefix 4A1 visible but no numbers stamped on the crank case, so presumably a replacement case
Displayed for last few years so will require recommissioning before use
