Here we have a rare opportunity to get yourself a very nice and tidy VW Delivery van, which would appear to be pretty much factory standard. It has benefited from a recent restoration which is very evident in its condition and cleanliness. The V5 and HPi tell us that it was built in 1972 and registered in the UK on 12/ 1/ 1973 leading you to believe that it is a genuine UK RHD supplied example, which in itself is a rare thing. The HPi also tells us that the van has only had 6 previous owners.
The condition is very nice with no visible additions added as far as we can see bar a radio. The engine bay is clean and you can see that the engine is also very clean and fitted with new parts - it even has a fire extinguisher fitted in the engine bay. The cab area is also very clean with what looks like the standard seats, steering wheel and dash area (other than the aforementioned music system). The load area is where the opportunity is all yours, as it is a blank canvas to be made into whatever you want being completely empty and ready to be fashioned as you wish. The other fact that points to it being a UK van is that the factory sliding door is on the near side. From a safety point this is a good thing, as the door opens onto the kerb rather than the road as a LHD example would. The door has a step fitted to aid access, which we think this may be an addition from its standard specification.
This van needs to be seen, as it represents a great adventure for someone to either enjoy as it is or make it whatever you want it to be. The world is your oyster with this VW, so come and see it and let your mind wander.
