Description
This beautiful MG PA was manufactured in June 1935 and delivered via main agent Morris garages, The Broadway Newbury, to its first owner Mr. W. Atkinson of 87 Bartholomew Street Newbury on the 1st of June 1935 , it was road registered as JB 6588.
The MMM chassis files confirm that this MG PA is chassis # PA2021, engine # 2314 AP, painted two tone Oxford and Cambridge blue, with blue upholstery.
Following various changes in ownership mostly in the Berkshire and London areas (last entry in the buff logbook was Enfield in 1960), the MG was purchased by the current owner in 1996.
During the current ownership, the MG received a ground up restoration with the assistance of the late Peter Green who was regarded as one of the most knowledgeable MMM experts.
The car was extremely original so only essential replacement parts were used obtained from MMM specialists such as Sports and Vintage and Barry Walker.
The MG was painted to the highest standards in its original colour after being painted black at some point in its life. The famous coach trimmer Alan Geater completed the upholstery, hood, and full weather protection.
Despite the restoration being completed between 2005-2009 the car has seen hardly any use as it was purchased for the owner’s daughter who preferred to leave her MG PA in the care of family car collection.
Due to the lack of use this immaculate little MG is ready for the next custodian to enjoy.
