History
In the autumn of 2007, BMW introduced the fourth-generation BMW M3 E92.
Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, this model redefined benchmarks for technology & driving dynamics. However, one standout feature captured the spotlight, for the first time in its history, the BMW M3 was equipped with a powerful V8 engine.
This M3 was originally sold by Nakamitsu BMW in late 2008, this M3 has spent it’s life on the un-salted roads in Japan. Very clearly enthusiast owned, this car has absolutely been cherished & the condition shows this.
The underside presents incredibly well as can be seen in the pictures, as does the rest of the car. The exterior has benefitted from a single stage machine polish to really make the Alpine White 3 shine.
All original booklets are present & of course in the BMW M Car leather wallet.
Since arriving with us from Japan, not only have we been through the car with our usual level of preparation, but we also had renowned specialist A Reeve Performance give the car a full check over, as well as replace the rod bearings & engine mounts as precautionary maintenance. The car also had oil & oil filter, spark plugs & UK coding – so the car picks up all UK radio stations & whilst the analogue speedo is a KMH unit the digital speedo now read in MPH.

Body & Paintwork
Apart from the chassis, only the doors, boot lid, windows & front and rear lights were taken from the BMW 3 Series Coupé. All other components were designed specifically for the BMW M3.
Having benefitted from a machine polish as part of our preparation, the Alpine White 3 paintwork looks stunning on this M3.
The carbon fibre splitter, roof & boot lip spoiler suit the car perfectly & are also all in great condition.
The genuine BBS LMR wheels present very well & have brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres fitted.
Only one small mark on one wheel, which is hard to spot but we are fussy.
All glass, lights & badges are in great condition, this is a stand out example of a very well cared for/ loved example & we feel it would be a hard example to beat.
Interior & Trim
As per the exterior, the interior is very good indeed.
Fox Red extended Novillo leather contrasts the white exterior beautifully, in fantastic original condition this interior present very well throughout.
All trims are in great condition, everything works just as it should do, including the heated seats, the individual audio, rear sunblind, rear camera etc etc
The BCM has been re-coded for the UK Market meaning the analogue speedo is in KMH however the digital is in MPH. This also give the option to display the odometer in MPH or KPH.
The car now picks up all UK FM radio stations which is very uncommon for a Japanese import.
All the usual wear spots are in excellent order, including the steering wheel, pedals, seat bolsters & floor mats.
Engine
Although it replaced the straight 6 engine that had been so popular with fans for the previous 15 years, the S64 V8 was a winner right from the start. With a claimed output of around 420 bhp, it’s phenomenal stats still stand out today.
Particularly impressive is its max 8, 300 rpm, which coupled with the titanium exhaust, create an incredible sound throughout the rev range.
Obviously this example runs as beautifully as you would hope, firing into life without any unwanted noises when cold, the car sounds fantastic.
The con rod bearings have been changed at 53, 023km/ 32, 947 miles for complete peace of mind.
On the road the performance is great, docile & a superb cruiser or if the mood takes you, a fun & revvy drivers delight.
The engine bay itself presents very well as you can see from the pictures.
Running Gear
This M3 drives fantastic as you would expect, handling upgrades really add to the drive experience.
The electronically adjustable KW DDC Coilovers are controlled by a button on the centre console. Featuring three preconfigured modes, comfort, sport & sport+, the M3 is ready for every driving situation.
The suspension coupled with the Brembo big brake upgrade further add to the BMW slogan “The Ultimate Driving Machine”
All running gear is in great condition as you would expect of a low mileage car & pictures show the stunning underside condition.
