The second time we have had the pleasure of this MAT vin (factory original) convertible at WRCC and we have done lots of work to get her to the superb standard she is in today.
Structurally the underside of the Minor has been stripped repaired and retreated so you can buy with peace of mind that the car is GOOD.
she has also had 4 new wings fitted, the door bottoms etc and all the other usual trouble spots have also been taken care of.
Her engine bay is also painted and very tidy.
The clipper blue paint job has a lovely shine and although not perfect certainly catches admiring glances when out and about.
We have also fitted a new mohair hood which looks superb the frame has also been refurbished.
Interior wise we had a custom duotone cream and blue interior made for the Minor, which is outstanding and compliments the hood perfectly.
She also has new carpets, glove box liners and door cards fitted too raising the bar on the Minors condition.
Mechanically the Tourer drives very well with a nice smooth 1098cc A series engine, a smooth transmission free from whines and crunches and upgraded brakes stopping her on a six pence.
Front and rear inertia reel seatbelts have been fitted for safety,
In Summary she is a very tidy example that is a little different from the norm, she could be taken to any local car show with pride or driven out in the summer sun with the top down with confidence, she has to be viewed to be appreciated!
