The Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione II requires no introduction, and this example is one of the special edition versions, the ‘Blue Lagos’ of which only 215 were ever produced. Instantly recognised by the exclusive metallic Blue paintwork, Yellow stripe, Crème Recaro seats and a rare Lancia Delta feature of air-conditioning, very few of these cars made it to the UK and this particular example has had just one UK owner since arrival from Italy in 1998. The Lancia has covered less than 72000 miles and comes with a detailed, well documented history.
There is no doubt the Lancia Delta Integrale Evo II was a true homologation special, it was so close to its racing counterpart with rapid performance and the best of the era's technology. Powered with an upgraded 16 valve 2. 0 litre engine, sophisticated Marelly engine control system with sequential multi point fuel injection and Garrett turbocharger offering lots of power boost, the Lancia has become a true icon. With a five speed manual gearbox, heavy duty suspension integrated with lightweight elements, large brakes with ABS, the Lancia proves a fantastic, impressive car to drive.
This very special cars comes with its original Automobile Club D'Italia conformity certificate from 1994, copies of the cars Italian registration document with its first owner named, Lancia Club certificate from its arrival into the UK in 1998, maintenance invoices and MOT's dating back to the cars arrival into the UK in 1998 when it had covered 42000 miles after its first four years in Italy. The Blue Lagos' one owner in the UK has enjoyed 30, 000 miles over almost 27 years of ownership and parting with the car has been an incredibly difficult, drawn out decision. The Lancia has been local to us since 1998, and initially came to us through our Malton Coachworks service and restoration department. The long term owner approached our service departments to discuss a potential program of light re-furbishment and re-commissioning work prior to selling the car and the decision has been made to market the car with several purchase options.
