PLEASE READ THE ADVERT THROUGH. SHE IS AN ORIGINAL FACTORY TOURER BUT NEEDS SOME WORK. SELLING AS A PROJECT. SHE IS NOT THE 15K MOGGIE SOME MAY BE IMAGNING.
HERE at Martin Howey Classics (Est. 25 years) today we are offering a bargain buy 1960 Morris Minor original factory convertible with its correct spec 948cc engine. Quite probably the best bargain tourer currently available. A bonny enough thing to be fair with some paint imperfections here and there which consequently manage to keep the price down to the bare bones. On the button and feels like a lively driver. A lot of Minor for not a lot of money. Hood looks fairly new. Tinker with and enjoy as you go. Must be the cheapest in captivity!
Until three years ago, just 1 owner from new!!! Chassis/ Vin number M/ AT3821386
This description is based on my opinion of the vehicle, the paperwork that comes with the car and anything I have been told about it. The vehicle is 64-years-old and this cannot be taken as a definitive statement for obvious reasons. As with most classic cars, there may be faults and quirks whilst, almost inevitably, some degree of tinkering and care will always be called for. Such are the joys of owning an antique vehicle and they must be taken within their own context and not compared to modern day cars. They are sold as old, mainly out-dated machines and come without any comeback whatsoever. They are my terms and conditions. In this case, the Minor looks and sounds well enough and is a factory tourer as stated. Clearly for the money, she is not a 15k example as many out there claim to be. She does look a touch frilly around the inner sill edges and will be best served by finding a new home and owner with capable hands. She will need work to that area in my opinion and more welding/ remedial work may be required. Selling as a project. Just so we are clear.
I can assist with delivery, Martin. the details below
I don't sell "second hand" cars; I sell extremely old vehicles which are, in the main, motoring antiques. Viewing is always encouraged so that you can see what you are getting. Your opinion and expectations may vary from mine. Then again, you could be in total agreement as the majority of my customers have been for the past 26 years. At the moment, the youngest vehicle in stock is 33-years-old and the oldest is 90!
Thanks, Martin
