Description
We buy cars we like and sell them to people we like. It’s our strapline and has been since we began tinkering and fettling classic cars as a business back in 2008. Regular reviewers of our cars and website, you are going to love this.
----- One previous owner, totally unrestored and 20, 568 miles from new -----
When will we ever see another car such as this? I do not know but the story here is wonderful. First registered to Mr F M Wilcock of St Helier Jersey on the 1 st of April 1972 the car resided in his garage meandering around Jersey before coming back to England and registered YFR670 to the present very discerning owner in the summer of 2002. This is where the car has been for the last 22 years. Serviced and driven as part of a small but wonderful collection. In 2019, the car was serviced and then stored away due to declining health of the owner. Finally he has decided to sell all of his cars and this V12 comes to sale for the first time in 23 years.
As such it represents an almost unique opportunity to acquire an unrestored, original paint and trim 20568 miles only car. Where will you find another? The history file is comprehensive and includes the buff log book and Jaguar British Leyland ‘Service Passport’ together with photos of the car ‘sprinting’ in Jersey on a hill climb!
The car has been stored carefully in a dehumidified garage. We charged the battery and checked over the fluids before starting the car. She fired up very easily and runs sweetly with outstanding oil pressure. The car will need a full service and detailing but all the vital signs are good.
Conscious that classic car enthusiasts like to bring such stored away cars back to life under their own careful eye we offer the car for sale as a running driving car needing that full service and careful recommissioning. Of course we can do all of the work for any interested party if that is what you need.
If we undertake the work and supply the car with a fresh MOT and a warranty of 12months or 3000 miles for £69995 OR you may choose to undertake all of the work yourself in which case view the car and make a sensible offer for this unique V12 E Type. The car has all its original book packs and a huge file of service bills in the present owners custodianship. A JDHT is applied for but I can say that this is a matching numbers car presented in its original colour configuration of Willow Green and Biege interior and just those 20, 568 miles.
