Description
Our Triumph TR2 was delivered new to France in January 1955. Still French, it was bought complete by its current owner, a historic racing enthusiast, in order to undergo a complete rebuild with a view to taking part in the Tour Auto and Le Mans Classic, among other events. The car was then entrusted to the Garage de la Choletterie, where it was completely dismantled and carefully rebuilt into a robust, compliant, high-performance car. The bodywork and chassis were stripped bare, sandblasted, reinforced and re-welded. A roll bar ensures greater overall rigidity, while all the running gear, engine and gearbox undergo extensive preparation. Nothing was left to chance by the pro-owner and his tuner, who wanted a beautiful, reliable, high-performance car. Following this lengthy project, our TR2 will take part in 3 Tour Auto events, as well as the 2023 Le Mans classic. In 2022, the engine was completely rebuilt at WG British Racing in Toulouse, the garage that now maintains the car. Eligible for the Tour Auto and Le Mans Classic 2025, we present to you an exceptionally well-prepared, high-performance car with its PTH. Our Triumph TR2 was delivered new to France in January 1955.
