We are very pleased to offer an excellent 1997 Rover Mini MPi that has had huge amounts of love lavished on it, the finished article is an amazing Mk1 Cooper S works rally tribute that not only looks amazing but has the power to match. This Mini is serious fun and would cost nearly double the asking price to create, it offers the looks of the famous rally cars with the go anywhere MPi driveability. Finished in gleaming Flame red with a contrasting black roof and benefitting from having the very sought after full length electric sunroof. The Mini is a accompanied with a detailed service history and both sets of keys and fobs.
As you can see form the images it has undergone an amazing transformation with real attention to detail. It features a full MK1 front end conversion with the correct bonnet, moustache, grille, over rider bumpers with nudge bars, leather bonnet strap and Morris Cooper badging. Round the back it has Mk1 rear lights, boot lid with hinged number plate, period Lucas reversing lamp, twin Aston filler caps, and a straight through Maniflow exhaust for the correct burble. Further features include group 2 wheel arches, ten inch Minilte wheels with Yokohama A-008 tyres, Aluminium four pot Cooper S disc brakes, Minifin rear brake drums, adjustable suspension and Spax shocks.
On the road this Mini will not disappoint. The fuel injected engine has been breathed on with an uprated fast road cylinder head with Hi lift rockers and it benefits from being lightened and balanced. This Mini is quick but yet so easy to drive, you will grinning the whole time, it handles beautifully and just keeps pulling through the rev range. As if that was not enough fun, at the touch of a button the Mini is transformed with that full length electric sunroof giving the full wind in the hair experience. It also benefits form being an MPi Mini which stands for multi point fuel injection, to enjoy the experience just turn the key and go. Further features include an alarm and immobiliser and taller gearing for long distance cruising.
The retro Cooper theme continues with the interior witch has been very well appointed with as new bucket seats with matching rears, Monaco trim front and rear door cards. alloy door trim and red seats belts. It has an as new full length Walnut dash with Magnolia dials and period Mota-Lita wood rim steering wheel with matching gear knob and new carpets.
The Mini has very solid shell and has been well maintained throughout it life. It has very well presented paintwork, the correct vented sills, body coloured floor pans and a recent rear subframe. This is a very sexy Mini in the flesh that gets huge amounts of attention wherever it goes, I think the new owner should complete it with an age related number plate to really make it stand out.
We have fully serviced, checked, tuned and driven this Mini and it has a long no advisory MOT. It is now ready to make you smile.
