Description
In Top Red with anthracite/ camouflage leather and nubuck interior.
Sold by us in 2006 at 66, 164 miles, the Z1 has now covered 69, 780 miles and has been kept by the last owner for eighteen years.
It has the BMW 2. 5 litre, 170 BHP straight six engine with a five speed gearbox and is made of thermoplastic panels mounted on a steel monocoque. All the cars are left hand drive, and only we believe that only 70 or 80 cars were UK supplied, of which H184HKL is one.
Registered by Altwood BMW as a demonstrator in June 1991, and passed through five owners, two of whom were the same person, until we sold it to a local customer to add to his small collection.
There is a good history file, includung copies of BMW Car magazine from when the Z1 featured regularly in the early two thousands.
We have just serviced it and replaced the timing belt and water pump.
Still in excellent order, this rare and appealing BMW is not for shy and retiring types!
PMC sold the Z1 early in 2024. The owner is moving to a place with limited garage space, so this striking car is back with us.
A new Alpina steering wheel and gear knob are now fitted and these are available by separate negotiation.
