Here is an interesting project for you - a VW Golf GTi 3-Door that is road legal and comes with a V5 and is HPi clear. The Golf has been subject to a re-build by the vendor to make it into either a fast and interesting road car or a track or race car - or it could become all three, the choice is yours! It is finished in Mars red with a black bonnet and black wheels and has been owned by the vendor for nearly 10 years. The conversion has been started, and it just needs finishing off and making it into what you want it to be.
The vendor has provided us with the following information:
“Track car, come rally car, Golf GTi unfinished project around 50, 000 miles, solid shell. 1. 8 turbo engine, a pro 240BHP new bigger turbo. New AP competition clutch, special engine brackets, stainless steel exhaust, Perspex windows, brand new Sparco racing seat with brackets, brand new welded in roll cage, brand new team dynamics wheels and tyres, fully adjustable suspension, new brakes, fully painted in red. I’ve owned the car for the best part of 10 years, dry stored, intensions of doing it, I’ve probably got over £10, 000 in the car not to mention the labour costs. It’s a lovely little project for the winter months, it needs finishing by someone who knows who knows anything to do with Golfs.”
