This Mercedes 250 S was delivered in Pforzheim on March 17, 1967 and remained in the first owner for several decades before the owner and first owner sold the excellently maintained car to the well-known Mercedes specialist Kienle for health reasons. Kienle subjected the then 46-year-old Mercedes to a comprehensive technical overhaul and engine overhaul, the invoice amount for which amounted to a whopping €77, 595. 89 plus(!) VAT.
