At the heart of the IS F was a new all-aluminium and naturally aspirated 5. 0-litre V8 powerplant, engineered for high output and sustained high-performance driving. The headline figures were 417bhp at 6, 600rpm and 372 lb/ ft torque at 5, 200rpm, delivering 0-62mph in 4. 8 seconds. Lexus’s direct and port injection system and electrically driven valve control promoted both superb performance and efficiency.

MY2010: Added LSD (Standard), upgraded Sat Nav with HDD and DAB, white leather, and Ultra Sonic Blue color available
MY2011: Suspension and steering changes, sport button moved to steering wheel, console changes with a large rev counter, DRL
MY2012: All exterior colors received a scratch-resistant clear coat. Revised coil springs and shock absorbers for improved stability and response. The revised rear suspension bushes for improved stability. The differential carrier has been made lighter. Headlights and console changes.
