This example benefits from tuning and modifications from Saab specialists, Abbot Racing in the mid 2000s, resulting in added performance and improvements to the vehicle. The major improvements consist of increased gas flow through the engine, fitted with a limited-slip differential, chargecooler kit, air filter, and stainless steel exhaust.
We have driven the car ourselves and it does drive superbly well. There is ample power from the turbocharged 1985cc 16-valve, especially now it has been breathed on by Abbott Racing. The ride was smooth and the gearbox was well mannered. Whether it is to be used as a quirky daily driver or your weekend car, we are certain there is plenty of fun to be had driving this Saab. Offered with a healthy history file, detailing servicing, maintenance work and previous MOT certificates dating back to 1995. It appears that this Saab has been maintained and looked after with no expense spared.
