The original Jaguar C-Type was designed to compete in endurance racing. Its aerodynamic bodywork was advanced for its time and was crafted to minimize drag while enhancing stability at high speeds. It quickly made its mark on the racing scene, achieving significant success at events like the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it claimed victory in 1951 and 1953
