Description
Audi R8 4. 2 Quattro Manual 2012.
Anyone who has been looking seriously for an R8, will know what a fantastic and under- valued supercar they actually are. The latest models offer the most tech and performance, but there is also something quite pure about the original, particularly when fitted with the free revving V8 engine and manual gearbox as in this example. The 32 valve 4. 2 litre engine produces north of 400BHP which is enough to propel this car to 60 mph in the early 4s and onto a top speed just short of 180MPH, still seriously impressive figures today.
If you are left in any doubt as to how good the original R8 manual actually is, take a look at the EVO review: Audi R8 4. 2 FSI V8 quattro (2007 - 2015): review, history and specs of an icon
This immaculate example is presented in Ibis white with Carbon Sigma side blades and only 48, 000 miles from new with full service history. Devoid of any serious driver aids or tech, this is undoubtably one of Audis greatest driving cars that due to ever tightening legislation, will never be reproduced again.
