Description
The Standard 8 Tourer was originally launched in 1938 as the Flying Eight. After the Second World War the Flying range of Standards was dropped but an updated car called the 8 hp was re-introduced in 1945.
This 1948 Standard 8 Tourer car is in great condition and has benefited from a considerable amount of money spent on it in recent years. It's great to drive - it starts and runs fantastically and the gear change is smooth.
The paintwork is immaculate and near concourse condition. There is no corrosion across the car and both the bodywork and underside are as nice as each other!
The interior was trimmed at the time of the restoration and is in good order with no tips or tears.
The hood is brand new and is complete with side screens.
Car comes complete with history and paperwork including the current V5.
