We are very proud to bring you this… and oh my it is something really quite special. An absolutely gorgeous and well sorted BMW with the all important M20 straight six engine with a manual gearbox. Sheer driving pleasure.
A very lovely mileage of just 51k indicated.
This particular example is presented in the classic shade of Alpine white with a complimenting gorgeous black tartan cloth sports interior which are in fantastic condition. Not a stain or a rip in sight.
This is a 1990 BMW E30 (pre facelift) cabrio and over the last 34 year it only shows an unbelievable 2 former previous keepers on the logbook. Rather impressive.
The 320i has resided in the Winchester area since new and with its current keeper for the last 20 years. It has lived a very sheltered life and Always garage stored which has paid dividends to roof, seat and dashboard condition. There’s no cracks, sun bleaching or tears.
Although the car has covered very little mileage, it has always been kept in fine fettle so a very large paperwork file accompanies the car. Along with this the full toolkit is present (In un-rusty condition), torch present, 2x keys, 2x original BMW immobiliser keys, original glove box key, original book packs in unmarked condition, original in car phone ‘Motorola users manual’ as well as a Vodaphone info book, original tax disc holder and most satisfyingly the original Hungerford main dealer plates, keys tags and dealer stickers all in place. It’s a genuine time warp.
Within the paperwork, there are records for a recent cambelt change at 51k miles, just been serviced (19 stamps within the book), exhaust has just been replaced with a genuine, brand new BMW E30 system, thermostat just been replaced, radiator replaced, fan belt replaced and few other bits and bobs.
Spec also includes, original Philips radio, in car phone, sports seats, immobiliser, headlight washer wipe, bottle cap wheels and trip computer.
The bodywork, interior and engine bay present in wonderful condition. Even the foam sound deadening looks like new.
The exterior and undercarriage of the car are remarkably clean and genuinely drives very well.
The engine bay is lovely and original including original factory wax still present and looks very tidy indeed. We have not cleaned the engine bay to retain its originality and patina.
If you’re after a very well sorted, usable classic this E30 would certainly do the trick.
You just don’t see examples like this come up these days.
