This 49, 000 mile Woodcote Green MG RV8 was manufactured on the 1st of May 1995. Arriving with a very comprehensive history file, this MG has been meticulously maintained, throughout its low mileage life.
The car has been treated to an electric power steering kit, supplied by EZ and fitted by an MG specialist. The MG has had a new steering rack, refurbished rear axle, new windscreen and frame, and a lot of routine servicing. The MG RV8 was a revival for the iconic British car brand. ‘The Marque has returned' was the slogan when the car made its debut at the British International Motor Show in 1992. There were only ever 2000 MG RV8s manufactured, and the car was so well received by the Japanese market 75% of RV8s were exported there.
The British Motor Heritage body shell of the MGB, new front and rear wings, and a 3. 9L V8, was the winning formula for the MG RV8 – the last truly British MG sportscar.
