Pleased to offer a very affordable Austin Seven, just recommissioned after a long-term rest and now all revived with new oil, plugs, all lubricated & ready to be enjoyed, the engine is the sweetest running Seven we’ve heard in long time, it even comes with a selection of handbooks and the essential wicker picnic hamper ready to pack up the nibbles before you head off for some motoring adventures.
It’s all running and operating as intended with working brakes and handbrake, working lights, wiper and horn, it starts readily and as previously mentioned runs like a Singer sewing machine. It has the sliding sunroof and tilting screen for open air summer motoring.
The car has massive amounts of charm, you can’t drive it without a grin on your face, a smile every mile guaranteed. Everything is very well greased up, the brake cables and adjusters are all moving freely, the chassis is in very solid condition and the included workshop manuals are well thumbed, as often seen on well-maintained cars, see our video for a full 2 min tour of the underside.
No untoward bangs, clang’s or rattles as you move along, steady at speed with no steering wheel wander, gears select easily with a sharp clutch, 4 speed gearbox. We have the current modern logbook, some owner history from the DVLA, two handbooks, a hard back Austin Seven book and a history folder showing many pics and show entries, its HPI clear, there’s some old MOT’s. The car benefits from free “Historic” road tax and is MOT exempt.
It presents well enough and will be admired wherever you go, paint finish is as expected for one of these pre-war cars, it’s not immaculate and close inspection will find imperfections as with any 80+ year old car, the interior is complete and free from any major wear, but show’s patina, the tyres are all showing ample tread, a couple showing age, there’s a good spare in the back and a jack under the driver’s seat, also has a very handy battery isolation switch discreetly hidden in the dash, it’s an honest car not a fully restored and is priced accordingly.
Have some fun with your savings, you bank manager isn’t doing you any favours with your boring ISA, tick the box off your bucket list and own a vintage car, won’t be worth any less when you’ve had your enjoyment, these cars are currently excellent value for money.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can deliver to most of the UK for £1 per road mile from Carlisle (it will not be delivered by crow), highlands, islands and outlying areas please check with us first. No sorry we can’t deliver for the asking price, the car is at sensible money and we are only covering the fuel cost with the deliver charge.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
