Description
Talbot Samba: Low Mileage/ Owners/ Never Welded
The Samba was manufactured by the PSA Group at the former Simca factory based in Poissy, France and marketed under the short lived “Talbot” brand. Launched in 1981 as a small three-door hatchback, the car was the last new Talbot car and its demise in 1986 ensured it was the last Talbot passenger car to be manufactured.
Once a common sight on our roads today the Samba is incredibly rare. They make an ideal practical classic choice for those looking for an alternative to the ubiquitous Morris 1000 Traveller or Mini Metro – there is little not to like!
At Milestone Classics we are always on the lookout for low-mileage, low ownership emerging classics that can be bought, used and enjoyed either as cost effective everyday transport or simply a slice of fun to be kept for high-days and holidays and the odd classic car show.

I drove the Samba Style over 100 miles back to our Unit in Wisborough Green listening to the previous owners Charlie Parker & Gene Krupa cassettes and this lovely old girl never missed a beat - I like her a lot.
She may not have been the fastest car on the M27 but she has a Gallic “Je ne sais quoi” that means the miles simply flew past and the Samba received lots of positive comments at the services including a chap that had one as his first car.
Ready to use and enjoy a test drive is highly recommended.
