We are very pleased to offer an awesome 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sportspack, finished in gleaming British Racing green with a contrasting white roof and bonnet stripes. This genuine Cooper Sportspack has only covered 18 thousand miles in 26 years with just two previous owners, the first couple cherished it for over twenty years. It is presented in its original factory specification. Supplied new by Staddons Rover in Devon, it still proudly wears both its original dealer number plates. It is accompanied with a history folder and a fully stamped history book that is so full it is stamped onto the spare pages, it has been serviced every 500 miles for most of its life. This Cooper offers its lucky new owner the chance to own and enjoy a rare low mileage example with excellent provenance.
On the road this Cooper is a real pleasure to drive. The smooth engine pulls well through the rev range and the gearbox is precise. The Cooper is in its original factory specification and as such offers the pure Mini driving experience. You will certainly be smiling. MPi Minis have a host of benefits, which make them such a popular choice. Which include a drivers airbag, side impact beams, an alarm and immobiliser, taller gearing for long distance cruising and are fuel injected so all you need to do to get out on the open road is turn the key and go. All of the Classic Mini charm with a modern twist. This Cooper also benefits from an RC40 exhaust so it has the correct burble.
The interior is beautifully presented and still feels new and virtually untouched. It has half leather Monaco trim and a full length walnut six clock dash with Magnolia dials and the original Rover cassette player is in full working order. This model also has rear seat belts.
This Cooper has a very solid shell with body coloured floor pans, untouched boot floor and unused spare tyre and the correct vented sills. The paintwork is gleaming and really does belie its vintage. This is a stunning Mini Cooper that will make its new owner very happy indeed.
We have fully serviced, checked and driven this Mini and it has a long MOT so is ready to go and be driven and enjoyed.
