Correct Avon branded tyres fitted all round
With its attractive Royal blue paint and magnolia hide interior, desirable cherished registration number, and sensible estimate, this Rolls-Royce would make a great addition to any classic car collection.
The vendor doesn't really want to sell the Rolls, but ill health has forced his hand, and as such the car is now available to purchase.
During his ownership, he has had the door veneers attended to, a new battery fitted, and the underside protected. There are several other bills on file back to 2008, plus the original Delivery and Advice note which is a nice touch.
The Rolls benefits from the original book pack, which also includes two service books with some stamps in each, one of which was in Monte Carlo in 1995. This could indicate the Rolls lived abroad during some part of its life - and it would certainly explain the registration date of 1/ 8/ 96 in the V5c.
The paintwork is decent overall - there is some evidence of paintwork being attended to at the front end and bonnet area, and there is some light surface rust around the driver’s side rear arch area. The correct Avon tyres are fitted all round, which is a sign that the Rolls has been looked after. The chromework appears good.
The interior is very tidy with the magnolia seat facings showing minor signs of wear, and some flaking of the dash veneer. The blue lambswool overmats are still present in the rear. The headlining appears in good condition. There is a blue mark on the driver's seat.
The engine seems to run as it should - it started on the button whilst in our hands with no warning lights present.
The Rolls comes with a car cover plus a number of spares in the boot.
Overall, this is a huge amount of car for the money. Don’t miss out!
