Where do we start with this? A Ferrari F355 Spider finished in Rosso red with Nero trim and red carpets with a black hood and tonneau cover, but wait for it, with the very desirable and fabled manual gearbox - the one to have!
It gets better - this is a UK supplied RHD example that was supplied new by Olympic (Exeter) Ltd on 21/ 6/ 1996 to a Mr Slater of Exeter and looking at the colour combination and specification, he chose very well. It would appear that the 355 was registered on the current number of ‘N355RFJ’, and has had a couple of cherished plates over time but is back wearing its original plate - a nice touch.
The service history is rather good with not one but two service books containing a total of 24 stamps - impressive - with the last 7/ 8 years or so by R & D Automotive, one of the country’s best and renowned Ferrari specialists. The service books are accompanied by the full Ferrari set of books and manuals complete with the lovely tan coloured Ferrari handbook pack. It gets ever better again as the 355 still has its tan leather ‘briefcase’ complete with the tools, spare fan belt, etc. which are often lost and are frighteningly expensive to replace, even if you can find one. The service history is accompanied by a host of invoices and receipts, and a comprehensive list of parts replaced. Very recently, it had two new Michelin Pilot tyres to match the other two (a great set of proper speed rated Michelin branded tyres), coil springs and a few other odds and ends, and then a fresh MOT which it passed with no advisories and is valid until November 2025.
The vendor has gone to the trouble of doing all the right things with this Ferrari whilst in his care since 2014, and has even had it detailed so it looks amazing both inside and out. The engine bay is a joy to behold, and it looks almost new. With the amazing history and the fact that it is a UK supplied RHD example with the manual gearbox must make possibly one of, if not, the best on the market today. If you are in the market for one of these, this is the one, there will not be another!
