DESCRIPTION:
My first ever TVR experience was in a friends T350C and what a day out that was! The noise, acceleration, handling and finesse of these cars was far ahead of anything I could have ever expected. A track day at Goodwood was the venue, but by the time I got there I already really got the TVR thing, it just so happened that it inadvertently ended up becoming most of my life, so these spectacular cars have a lot to answer for! They’re so good, a ride in a good one will almost certainly change all of the doubts and misconceptions into pure joy and wonder as to why you hadn’t tried one before.
The striking Red Bull blue paintwork really pops in the sunlight, matched with a very classy interior, fitted with many upgrades from the factory, this is a very nicely spec’d T350 that has been very well cared for throughout its life and it does show on the road. The car starts and idles beautifully, with a purposeful crack from the ACT Performance sports exhaust, it sounds just right. Pull away and the fresh clutch is a joy to use and as ever with the 3. 6’s it is so willing to go and rev, no shortage of torque to be found either, it will easily pull uphill in 5th, but stir the box a bit and you have a seriously fast machine.
The fun doesn’t stop there either, they’re excellent long-legged cruisers, with so little weight to move, they eat up the miles with ease and provide a decent MPG figure to boot. Talking of boots, you have a cavernous luggage area, an airy a sizeable cabin and even the door pockets and handles can fit water bottles in them. A truly great all-rounder. When you start to push on though, that’s when the T350 comes alive. With the factory standard items of a roll-cage, AP brakes, full alloy pedal box and the added advantage of the Gaz Gold adjustable dampers, they can change direction like a gnat.
It's time to get behind the wheel of one, before they all migrate to the USA once the 25-year rule happens. A solid investment for a genuinely rare, special and useable British sports car, there really isn’t anything to dislike. I can tell some of you are asking why it is on 16” wheels, ride comfort is the answer, however the car comes with a choice of the 16’s you see here or the 18’s, so you can pick and choose how you’d like to car to look and handle too.
